Transitioning to Veganism: Part Two

Transitioning to veganism has been a crazy step by step process. Of course, I am still eating meat right now, and very little dairy, but I’m loving the learning process.
I have finally finished going through all my makeup, and it’s sad to see a large portion of it gone with the wind. However, I’ve found some great brands to replace my shampoos, conditioners, body wash, and other important items needed.
I’ve even convinced my best friend, Trey, to go through his clothing and get rid of anything that wasn’t made with vegan materials. So together, we went through our clothing and even spoke with associates for shoe companies.
The problem with some shoe brands is that the glue they use has ingredients derived from animals. I spoke with a Nike representative who disclosed that some of their shoes are indeed vegan (not all), and they’re glue is not derived from animal products.

November 1st, 2017 is right around the corner and I’m very excited. Why? World Vegan Day. I’m joining a new friend of mine, TheCrumbyVegan, and many others in going vegan for the day.
