10 Ways to Make Some Bomb Hot Chocolate // Blogmas Day 16

Let’s get straight to the point: I love hot chocolate. I don’t really know anyone who doesn’t like it. The problem is, plain old hot chocolate gets boring and repetitive. So I’ve compiled 10 ways to make some bomb hot chocolate with just 3 or 4 simple ingredients.

1. The Peppermint Way

Ingredients:

  • 1 c.  Milk
  • 1/2 c. Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tsp. Peppermint Extract

2. The Orange Way

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. Milk
  • 1/2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp. Orange Zest
  • 2 oz. Dark Chocolate

3. The Vegan Way

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 1 – 1/2 tbsp. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tsp. Coconut Palm Sugar

4. The Aztec Way

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. Milk
  • 5 oz. Chopped Dark Chocolate
  • 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
  • Small Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

5. The Peanut Butter Way

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. Milk
  • 1/2 c. Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 oz. Chopped Milk Chocolate
  • 1/4 c. Creamy Peanut Butter

6. The Pumpkin Spice Way

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp. Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 c. Whole Milk
  • 1 tsp. Unsweetened Dark Cocoa

7. The Nutella Way

Ingredients:

  • small pinch of salt

8. The Caramel Way

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp. Caramel Sauce

9. The White Lavender Way

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. Whole Milk
  • 1/4 tsp. Lavender Buds
  • 1/2. White Chocolate Chips

10. The Store Bought Way

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. Water or Milk
  • 1 packet of Hot Chocolate

 

How to Top Off Your Hot Chocolate Like a Boss:

  • Marshmallow Fluff
  • Cinnamon Stick
  • Whipped Cream
  • Caramel Sauce
  • Marshmallows
