Mondays…am I right? On my side of the world, Monday is almost over, and thank heavens for that! To me, for no particular reason at all, Mondays are very stressful. Listen, I don’t work a 9-5 everyday for five days, and I don’t go to public school. So because of my schedule, a stressful Monday doesn’t exactly make sense. I can admit that the past week or so has been very stressful in general, but I found the person unwinding solution: bullet journaling.
Doing weekly spreads in my journal has been the highlight of my weekend and this weeks is so nice yet simple!
Simple means a lot for me because I don’t have time for intricate details. IF I did that would be lovely! If you spend hours upon hours decorating your bullet journal, I commend you. However, boxes and colors are about as detailed as it gets for me so far. I’m definitely still a newbie.
For this week, I let Trey pick out the theme colors and of course he chose blue. No surprise there. For anyone who doesn’t know, it’s his absolute favorite color. I made seven rectangle boxes for the days of the week and then a large box for my weekly goals.
My Week Three Goals:
- finish writing chapter one of my novel
- walk 5 or more miles
- workout 4-5 days
- compose three blog posts or more (Monday-Wednesday-Friday)
I also chose to add another inspirational quote. In honor of Martin Luther King Jr day, I chose this quote:
“Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.
I hope you enjoy my very short journaling post! What are your goals for the week?
