I know some people say that shopping for men is so easy – but I honestly have so much trouble in this department. Specifically when shopping for my grandfather, because he is not a materialistic guy. In fact, I’ve never actually heard or seen him point out something that he wants. And let me tell you – having someone like that in your life makes gift shopping that much more time consuming.
So whether you have someone like that in your life, or you just downright need some new ideas, here are fifteen things you can get the men in your life! (Whether it be a father, uncle, grandfather, boyfriend, or friend.)

The Gift Guide: For Him
Add To Their Collection of Hats
Hats are the perfect gift for any kind of guy because there are so many different styles to match different personalities and moods. Is he a classy kind of guy? Go for a fedora! Dressed down? Try a baseball cap or Snapback. How about maximum comfort? A beanie would be perfect!
A Giftcard for Lids / Their Favorite Hat Store
If you love the hat idea, but aren’t sure which direction to go in – try settling for a gift card. Gift cards are so under-rated!! I would so much rather get a gift card that way I can choose exactly what I want to use it for. And I’m sure they will appreciate it just as much as you giving them a hat.
A New Pair of Shoes
Nike’s, Vans, and Adidas are in the spotlight right now – so why not let the man in your life shine with a new pair of shoes!
A Gift Card for Journeys / Foot Locker/ Their Fave Shoe Store
Like I said: Gift cards can go a long way – especially when it comes to shoes. So don’t be afraid to give a little extra on a card instead of guessing on a pair of shoes they may not even like…
A Classy Yet Inexpensive Watch
It’s no secret that most men like a nice watch – and also no secret that woman like to see them on your wrist. There is something about a nice watch that can make any man look classy. And no, I’m not talking about a billion dollar ROLEX either. (Although if you have the money to gift one, by all means, go ahead!)

A New Video Game
If the guy you’re buying for is anything like my boyfriend, brother, or any of my guy friends – than he probably has played or currently plays video games. Why not add to his collection and get him a new game!
Of course, I can’t tell you what games to buy, especially since I won’t know what console he is using! But. If he does play video games actively, chances are he’s already told you which game he’s looking for next. If you still aren’t sure which game to settle for, here’s a small list of some of the newer and popular games!
- Black Ops 4
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Fallout 74 (Although new, I heard the majority of people did not like this game.)
A Playstation / Xbox / Steam Giftcard
Okay – one more gift card is to be on the list… just in case. If you aren’t quite as nerdy as the guy you’re shopping for, than it may be time to just give into the gift card peer pressure. Hey – No Judgement Here!
A New Pair of Jeans
Trey and I went shopping over the weekend and I got into looking on Pinterest at men’s fashion. I even started an Inspiration board –
We found Trey a very nice pair of black Levi’s and it got me thinking – jeans would be the perfect gift for any man! (Provided you know what size he wears.)
A Pair of Sunglasses
“I wear my sunglasses at night..so I can, so I can…”
Sunglasses are my go-to gift! So please forgive me if these are on every single gift guide I ever make for the rest of eternity. I love them because despite the name sunglasses, I have a firm belief you can wear them in any kind of weather.
Sun? Sunglasses… Rain? Wind? Shield your eyes! Nighttime? Don’t let those crazy streetlights blind you.
A New Headset
Headsets can be for music-blaring, working out, noise-cancelling, or gaming – perfect for any kind of man! Whether he’s a labor worker, frequent flyer, or just a dedicated music lover – I am 98% sure he would love a headset sitting under the tree this year.
